In the last table you can see the date: november 2008.
In the antivirus world one year it’s like a geological age!
Don’t worry about it.It’s the comparison of some of softwares in 2008.It doesn’t means that the Anti-virus is 1 year old.It only means that the details of other softwares given there are took from the ’2008 performance test’.They just mention it to tell you the source !

Vipre Antivirus is good. I have the latest version installed on my home laptop. I believe, Vipre is good for home computers, but the all-rounder should be Norton. Check the PCMag.com website for detailed review of the Norton Internet Security 2010 which won maximum points based on their lab tests.
